    Sorry, I'm a bit late replying to this post, but Chris if you haven't gotten any insurance yet, you might check into it with your Renters/Homeowners provider. I have a rider on my policy that protects all my gear (up to like $10,000) regardless of how it's damaged (or lost or stolen) or where I am.

    Not a bad deal, considering it cost an extra $60 a year to add the rider....

    If only insurance was THAT simple in Canada!

    Still doing some research, but it dosen't look like my gear can be covered with my house insurance...

    I guess I won't have time to do this before I leave on tour this time, but it's the first thing I'll do when I return. Hopefully with all my equiptment safe and in tact.
